PCS Bi-Sector Array
Model BSA-P65-20F00X
TenXc's PCS Bi-Sector Array is a new and innovative solution for PCS networks to address capacity and quality challenges found in high-capacity macro cell site applications. The Bi-Sector Array provides additional service capacity using existing site infrastructure at a fraction of the cost of introducing additional sites.
TenXc's PCS Bi-Sector Array applies the principle of paired asymmetric beams to higher order sectorization to increase overall site capacity whilst maintaining optimal coverage. The PCS Bi-Sector Array matches the original 65° pattern with a new asymmetric beam-pair contoured to optimize central overlap and edge roll-off characteristics. Incorporating the latest in adaptive array technology, a single high gain PCS 1900 band panel supports both sectors to minimize site antenna counts and installation time.
Benefits
- Increases site capacity gains with higher order sectorization
- Maximizes performance with optimal adjacent sector overlap
- Maximizes coverage in a standard tri-sector cell plan
- Simplifies mounting and alignment with a single dual-beam panel
- Minimizes installation and site costs with pre-set matched patterns
Features
- Single panel design supporting two sector beams
- Optimized asymmetrical Left-Hand (LH) and Right-Hand (RH) RF patterns
- High performance vertical side lobe and null infill
- High gain antenna with two ports per LH and RH beam (4 RF ports per panel)
- Dual +45° and -45° cross-polarization
Applications
- Site capacity growth - replace existing 65° antenna or dual 33° antennas
- High channel capacity and coverage sites - new site builds
- Defferal of CDMA carrier adds
- Spectrum clearing and refarming
Product Applications
The TenXc PCS Bi-Sector Array is applicable to both GSM and CDMA PCS 1900 markets. Network site applications include the replacement of existing 65° or 33° antennas, new capacity site builds, deferral of carrier adds, and spectrum refarming in high demand or spectrum limited markets.
